| General objectives |
This course is the continuation of the basic corporate finance course with a review of accounting, taught by the same lecturer. The purpose of the course is to go deeper into financial markets : typology, sizes, tools, techniques, players. We shall see how financial markets evolved profoundly over the last 30 years, and how they serve today's world financial needs. |

Lesson 1 : Introduction, society and exchange, what is a financial product, etc. Lesson 2 : Banking systems, foreign-exchange markets, off-shore currencies Lesson 3 : Money markets Lesson 4 : Bond markets Lesson 5 : Securitisation Lesson 6 : International fixed-income markets Lesson 7 : Equity markets Lesson 8 : Commodities and futures markets Lesson 9 : Options and derivatives markets Lesson 10 : Conclusion, future of financial markets and of the world monetary systems (sounds) |

| Teaching methods | Lecturer's presentation, discussion, in-class exercises. Besides attending classes, students are requested to read and study at home the above lessons. |
