4. Most provincial capitals have small airports.

PHYSICAL ECONOMY

1. The chief export crops are coffee, cocoa, cotton, tea, rubber, palm oil, bananas and pineapples.

2. Sheep, cattle and pigs are also raised.

3. Aqua culture is in its early stages.

4. Cameroon has 20 big sawmills and 5 plywood factories.

5. Aluminium is an important export and domestic product.

6. Cameroon has deposits of bauxite, uranium, nepheline, syenite, industrial clay, nickel, cobalt, gold, iron ore, tin and limestone.

7. The country's attractions are the game parks and nature reserves in the north.

8. There is oil in the Rio de Rey basin, producing 6.3m tons in 1993.
