27th November 1997

Over the and through the wood,

To grandfather's we go;

The horse the way

carry the sleigh

Through the and drifted snow.

the river and through the wood,

Oh, how the wind blow!

stings the toes

And bites nose

As over the ground we .

Over the river through the wood,

To have first-rate play,

the bells ring,

"Ting--ling-ding!"

Hurrah for Thanksgiving !

Over the river and the wood,

Trot fast, dapple-gray!

Spring the ground

Like hunting-hound!

For this Thanksgiving Day.

Over the river and through wood,

straight through the barnyard gate.

We to go

Extremely ,

It is so to wait!

Over the river and the wood,

Grandmother's cap I spy!

Hurrah the fun!

Is the pudding ?

Hurrah for the pumpkin-pie!
