Question: A Lewin lecture is an avalanche of equations and a few spectacular demonstrations, but very few simple, deep explanations. I am not sure he really develops much physical intuition. Am I the only one to think that?

Answer: No, this point of view is quite common, especially among teachers who care about fine conceptual understanding and active pedagogy.

What many criticize him for

Showmanship, equations, and physical insight

A rather polarized perception
